HISTORY
50 years Hotel Längenfelder Hof in Zugspitzdorf Grainau.
The Längenfelder Hof has been family-owned for 50 years now. The house was built by my parents Franz and Cäcilia Stuhrmann in 1973, the first guests were able to move into their rooms at Christmas/New Year's Eve 1973/1974 and in April 1974 the Längenfelder Hof was officially opened. At that time the hotel was a new attraction with an indoor pool in Grainau.
I have been running this little paradise since 1986. At the end of 2016, at the age of 86, my parents Cäcilia and FranzStuhrmann put their Längenfelder Hof in my hands and handed it over to me. I am eternally grateful to my parents for that. I find active support in my family with my husband Alexander and our two daughters Anna and Sandra. My husband is otherwise self-employed with our older daughter Anna and yet family cohesion is part of everyday family life at the hotel.
For the past 10 years, the Längenfelder Hof has been renovated twice a year with great ambition and family cohesion, with always new ideas and always "special". In November 2022, the last non-renovated room was finally redesigned to become another wellness highlight: the Zirben-Feuer Stub'n was created, a pine room with infrared pine swing loungers, which are very beneficial for relaxation and health. With the completion of this room, we in our family have considered how we can now present this special paradise and express that something very unique awaits the guest here. When asked what actually is a boutique hotel, we found ourselves with our house meaningful and absolutely coherent: "A boutique hotel is a particularly exclusive accommodation that differs from other hotels with a high level of service and an extraordinary design. Boutique hotels are mostly are privately owned and stand out from hotel chains, resorts and large hotels thanks to their family atmosphere."
And so my passion, a very special place of rest and relaxation, became our "The Boutique Hotel Längenfelder Hof", which can now look back on 50 years of family tradition. My dream of being able to run a hotel where I would like to go on vacation myself has come true. A very special thank you goes to my husband and our daughters Anna and Sandra, who always supported me in my work, were always there for me when it became too much for me and at the same time gave up on me so much.
Our unique holiday idyll in the Zugspitz village of Grainau, located in the heart of nature, with an unobstructed, undeveloped mountain view, with many extras, with quality that runs through our entire house and things that are not always a matter of course, inspire countless guests year after year . With us, guests are personally and friendly, then as now, always warmly looked after by my entire team and increasingly made into friends. Anyone who has been here is always happy to return! With us you can expect a very special piece of home with a heart.

Check-in: From 2.00 pm your booked room or your booked apartment will be available. Should you arrive later than 8 pm, please contact us by phone.
Check-out: We ask you to leave your room or apartment by 11.00 am. You are welcome to leave your luggage at our hotel.
Early check-in: Depending on availability, you can book your room from 8.00 am with our Alp breakfast buffet for the price of € 32.00 per person. Depending on availability, you can also book early check-in without breakfast at the price of € 20.00 per person.
Late check-out: You still want to use the day? Depending on availability, you can book Late Check-out for € 30.00 per person on your departure day until 7 pm.
Breakfast buffet: 8:00 am to 10:00 am.
Coffemashine: There is a Nespresso coffee machine in your room. Bathrobes, slippers, bath bag with swimming pool towels, umbrella and backpack are available for free during your stay.
WI-FI: Free Wi-Fi in the hotel.
Opening hours: indoor pool, infrared "Zirben-Fire-Hut", wellness rooms from 7 am to 9 pm, sauna / panorama outdoor biosauna from 3 / 4 pm to 7 /9 pm.
